    5. Comments regarding Triland McConico's presentation

  • It was pretty dry. Many people got up and left mid presentation. He didn;t have 2 seperate presentations but one realy long one. I think we should have 2 different speakers and 2 different topics.
  • I thought he was very informative
  • I thought the gentalman was very dry and not willing to take a stand on what "non-profits" really need. I don't think we need another computer system to drain our finaical resources. Whiling charging us thousands a year for mantinance contracts and updates.
  • None of the information was relative to our organization's needs. I only attended the lunch and second half portion of the event hoping it would be somewhat different.
  • very informative.
  • I thought that he should have had handouts. If you purchased software in the last year then it wasn't very helpful.
  • The presentation was well done, but it covered basic areas of donor database acquisition and management which isn't a need of ours right now.
  • This particular topic did not pertain to our Foundation at this time. His presentation was very good however.
  • It was informative but not very engaging.

  • I recall a program from the past that involved a panel of funders who talked about their priorities and what they like to see from grant applicants. I believe the panel included someone from the Community Foundation, the U.S. Bancorp Foundation and the Gates Foundation (possibly Allen Foundation as well). I found it very informative.
  • Kim Klein - I just saw a great webinar on Year-End Appeals. Would be good for the SEptember meeting next year. Very "how to"
